The Worst Game I Own For Each Platform I Have

Posted on March 14, 2024 by Brian

Uh, yeah, it’s been too long.  I haven’t been playing retro games much, honestly, other than Starcraft: Brood War, by far the best game ever made, which I got back into last week.  I should write something about that game … Continue reading →

It’s Over. Nintendo Went Through With the Worst Shutdown of a Digital Storefront Ever.

Posted on March 30, 2023 by Brian

I wrote this today, because I’m still upset about this and aren’t over it.  This article has three parts.  First is the longer, about Nintendo’s recent shutdown of digital purchasing on the 3DS and Wii U.  Second is a shorter … Continue reading →

Posted on January 27, 2020 by Brian

I usually do not do Game of the Year lists and have not for some time, and for good reason — it is impossible for any one person to play all of the great games released in a year, and … Continue reading →

Posted on September 7, 2015 by Brian

This post is a purely opinion-based list of my favorite games for each of the consoles I own.  This is only a console list — I will do a PC list separately because it’d be too hard to do them … Continue reading →

Opinion List: My Favorite Game For Each Platform I Have (No Late Ports Included) & For Each Platform (True Exclusives Only)

Posted on July 18, 2015 by Brian

Inspired by this NeoGAF thread, I wrote up this list: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?p=171036686  First I made the list from the thread, and then second a list of only true exclusives, that is games that are only available on that platform and no … Continue reading →

List: Capcom Fighting Games – A list of all fighting games published by Capcom

Posted on July 10, 2015 by Brian

Returning to the subject of ‘near-useless lists’… here’s another one!  I made this because I was wondering if Capcom had released more fighting games on the Dreamcast than they have since.  Well, that was true through the ’00s, but thanks … Continue reading →

Class of Heroes 1 (PSP) Review: Addictive, Grindey Dungeon-Crawling Fun, and Frustration. Also: Some Impressions on Class of Heroes 2 (PSP)

Posted on January 7, 2015 by Brian

Okay… so, several years and like 150+ hours into playing this super addictive but at times nightmarishly unfun grinding simulator (or at least that’s what it is right now!), I really should write something about it, shouldn’t I?  I mean, … Continue reading →

Lists: 4th Gen Console Games from Electronic Arts (EA)

Posted on December 29, 2014 by Brian

The purpose of this list is to show how heavily biased EA was towards the Genesis over the Super Nintendo (or Turbografx) in the 4th generation.  EA started out as a computer game developer, and only moved into consoles in … Continue reading →
